A freelance writer and at-home mom, Amy  currently writes a weekly column for Patch.com called Adorable Chaos and reports on educational news for her town. She is also a licensed massage therapist, with additional certifications in sports massage and reflexology.

Originally from New York, Amy now lives in Connecticut with her husband, their three daughters, two cats (who think they own the place) and a dog who is often mistaken for a coyote. And if she won lotto tomorrow, her first priority would be to hire a maid and a cook and take a much-needed nap. Until that happens, Amy will continue to feed her ever-growing addiction to all things caffeinated to maintain the necessary pace and keep up with her kids, her writing and all the debris from living that needs cleaning up.

She is a knitter, an equestrian and an avid reader. Her main objective in writing is to share and encourage others with her knowledge, experiences and adventures in parenting from the ever so practical advice found in Bedtime Games to the account of a day in the life in My Cup Runneth Over.

Amy writes for writers in Finding Your Writing-Style, Finding Your Voice, and covers a variety of other topics, including green living, real estate, career development, wedding planning, food and humor.
