Water Conservation at Home
59Water Conservation for Beginners
It has been said recently that the water crisis will be quickly following global warming as the next major human induced environmental crisis. We need to make an effort to make changes and learn to conserve water now if we hope to manage the negative effects of years and years of misuse.
We never know the worth of water till the well is dry.

I like "3. Take shorter showers". Definitely better than soaking in a tub which is not wrong once in a while :)
A good cause to write about. I like your approach.
I am feeling quite smug after reading your article. I do almost 12 points already. I guess my parents brought me up to be eco friendly.
I pour the left over liquids in our coffee cups, tea, juices, etc in my houseplants - they thrive on the extra ingredients and it eliminates the need to rinse out the cup or glass!
It is amazing how much water we waste when it is absolutely precious in most of the world. Great Hub!

Most people do not realize just how much water goes down the drain everyday. With kids it is not too hard to train them to conserve. They are some of the best at being good to the environment.
